about

These four songs originally appear on The Art Is Not Dead's "Not Enough People Do Three-Ways Volume 1," a three-way split featuring Welter, Readership and yours truly. Please see The Art Is Not Dead's
Bandcamp page and support that effort there. To satisfy the (likely non-existent) subset of music fans who crave only Science Club and nothing but Science Club, the songs have been reposted here.

Even for a band like this one, which records mostly in basements and uses Microsoft Paint for its "album" "artwork," these recordings are a decidedly DIY affair. The tracks were recorded by Brian at TAIND in a re-purposed saw mill and mixed in a well-furnished South Philly basement. The songs were written in hastily in practice sessions and sound as such. Though void is form and there is no inherent meaning to anything, they are inspired by (unfortunately) scene politics, (unusually) small dogs, (incongruously) the comforts of love and (predictably) the unfair but necessary trudge from cradle to grave.

All thanks to Brian, Welter and Readership.
